INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT VIDEO PITCH
Each team must Upload a 2 minute video pitch of their SELECTED IDEA on this link

You must include the following in the VIDEO PITCH.
1) Introduction Page (DO NOT CHANGE THE TEMPLATE)
2) Brief Introduction of Team (Put pictures with full name and class) Not more than 10 seconds
3) The Problem – State the Problem your idea is solving. Provide relevant data to support the significance of the problem. Use visuals (graphs, infographics) to make it more appealing (Suggested Time – 20 to 30 SECONDS)
4) Progress So Far – Show any progress that you have made. e.g. Concept Diagram, Prototype, Any Customers. Include a pictures or short clip demonstrating the solution in action. (Max. 15 SECONDS)
5) Implementation Plan : Key Things that you will do to implement the solution within Rs. 1000 budget. Outline key steps, resources needed, and potential challenges. (20 to 30 SECONDS)

NOTE:
- The VIDEO PITCH duration is minimum120 seconds maximum 135 seconds (SHOULD NOT INCREASE THE TIME LIMIT) (including 1st slide (5 sec) and last slide (5 sec)
- If your team has submitted multiple ideas in Stage 1 and you are in Top 1500, you can proceed with ANY SELECTED IDEA
- All Team Members be visible in the video (Suggested but not Mandatory)
- The deadline to submit video is 5:00 pm of 25th August (SUNDAY). THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE IN THIS

Youth Ideathon encourages our youth to dream big and gives their dreams wings.
Organised by ThinkStartup and Management Entrepreneurship Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) in association with Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), in 3 editions, the Youth Ideathon is India’s biggest innovation and entrepreneurship competition designed specifically for school students.
In its previous 3 editions, the contest engaged with school students to energize them and connect with their passions to discover societal problems and propose solutions that can make lives of humanity better. In the 2023 edition, more than 155,000 school students from over 6000 schools participated. Now we are all set to launch Youth Ideathon 2024.

WHO IS IT FOR?
The Youth Ideathon 2024 is open to all school students in India across two categories:
- Junior: Class 4 to Class 8
- Senior: Class 9 to Class 12
YI24 School Registration
YI24 is also open to all Schools from any Board – Central / State / International. There are special rewards for Schools of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, on the basis of student and teacher participation.
Faculty Development Program
YI24 is also open to all school teachers / mentors. However, a teacher must have a student team who s/he is mentoring. YI24 shall special rewards for Teachers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Submit Your Idea
YI24 is OPEN for all K12 School Students. However, students have to participate in teams of 3 to 5 members from the same school.
Principal of innovation
YI24 introduces the Principal of Innovation Award to honor School Principals who transform their schools into innovation hubs.
YOUTH IDEATHON THEMES
The Youth Ideathon 2024 shall focus on innovative ideas and entrepreneurship around three key themes, as below:
Innovation and Entrepreneurship relating to Indian Heritage and Knowledge System
Encourage students to explore India's rich heritage and traditional knowledge to develop innovative solutions for contemporary challenges.
Technologies to take India ahead
Empower students to leverage emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT) to address national needs.
Sustainability (Air, Water, Health, Energy, Education, Poverty)
Challenge students to develop innovative solutions for a sustainable future, focusing on environmental and social issues.

Youth Ideathon is India’s biggest entrepreneurship competition for school students, aimed at fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among young minds. It provides a platform for students to present their startup ideas and receive mentorship and support.
To submit your idea for the competition, please follow these steps:
- Complete the Submission Form: Navigate to the Idea Submission Page. Fill out the submission form with the necessary information about your idea. This includes the basic details about your idea that how impactful it is.
- Review and Submit: Double-check all the details you have entered to ensure accuracy. Once you are satisfied, click the "Submit" button to submit your idea.
School Registration Form: Go to the School Registration Page. Fill out the form with your school's name, address, contact information, and any other required details.
Submit Registration: Review the information entered, and once confirmed, click the "Submit" button to complete the registration process.
